Engineering Intern

Role Overview

As an Engineering Intern, you will work alongside experienced engineers and contribute to hardware, firmware, and IoT development projects.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Basic analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting hardware circuits.
• Willingness to learn and assist in hardware module development.
• Fundamental understanding of electronic components, schematics, and PCB concepts.
• Exposure to PCB tools such as Altium Designer or KiCad is preferred.
• Understanding of SI/PI and EMI/EMC fundamentals is a plus.
• Familiarity with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
• Ability to read datasheets and technical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Essential Functions

• Assist in schematic design and PCB layout activities.
• Support prototype bring-up, testing, and debugging.
• Help in component research and BOM preparation.
• Collaborate with firmware, software, and mechanical teams.
• Maintain organized engineering documentation.
• Assist in validation testing and performance verification.
• Follow Innovoltic engineering design standards.

Education and Experience

• Pursuing or recently completed Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics.
• Academic projects or internship in electronics preferred.
• Strong foundation in analog and digital electronics is desirable.
